Food can be supplied by yourselves or by Animotel. Here we feed a complete pellet food that is supplemented with the appropriate levels of vitamin C guinea pigs essentially need as they cannot produce it themselves. However if your guinea pig is fed on something different then please let us know when booking as this can also be supplied if needed.
Fresh fruit and vegetables are given daily, this is generally scatter fed so guinea pigs use their natural senses to find their food and stops boredom occurring. Fresh grass is also fed daily and occasional seed sticks and other treats are supplied for your pet to enjoy. Fresh water is continuously supplied during the day.
Guinea pigs are groomed on a regular basis during their stay to help with the removal of dead hair and to stimulate the skin.
Please notify us well in advance if your pet requires medication or ongoing treatment during its stay.
